The Cat's Tail Tale

So I was driving into the carport today, and I felt the car roll over something.  Not like a cat body, but definitely something.  Like a water hose.  Or something like that.  But there was no loud screaming or noises, so I really wasn't sure what happened.

I got out of the car and looked around and under the car.  I saw nothing.  But then I did see Minnie the Cat run out of the carport and around the side of the house.  And today, when I drove into the carport, Minnie jumped up from her usual "act like a dead cat" position on the floor of the carport and ran toward the back yard.

"Does my tail look crooked to you?"

So the mystery is, did I run over Minnie's tail?  She's not telling, and I guess I won't either!!

Today was a great day because:  several projects nearing completion; taking Everley to school and picking up Everley and Lindley; family dinner at the Doik; future girls cruise planned

My Kind Of Glass Slippers ...

Yes, Cinderella had her glass slippers. Thanks to my sister Marilyn, I now have my own set, or at least the kind of glass slippers that suit this princess! For my birthday, she found somebody who decorates Toms shoes.  In this case, they're Disney Cruise Line inspired.  I can't wait to wear them in a few weeks.  When I might be going on a Disney cruise ...  Somewhere ...

The good news is that I don't have to be in by midnight!

Today was a great day because:  Everley spending the night; picking up Lindley and Everley from school, having some L&E time, and then taking them home; a slow two miles with Molly and Rambo

Udderly Pink - On The Move

Today Udderly Pink completed another training walk. Sure, it was not nearly enough mileage. But at least we got out on the street.   Does that mean we're street walkers??

The famous Tootsies.  Isn't open at 7am.

The Fitty-What? team and their caretaker.

The Rent-A-Bicycle place.  Which we considered for about 45 seconds.  Until we figured out
(a) several of us hadn't ridden a bicycle in decades, and
(b) the first mile back would be straight uphill.
We may be old, but we is smart.

Molly's friend Ashley joined us.  She isn't on the team, but walks with us anyway.

Today was a great day because:  Seven miles and breakfast with the Udderly Pink team; Lindley and Everley time; Molly and Sam taking care of McAllister dinner

Cousins

Just another Saturday of cousin fun.  Which was just after some cousin conflict involving a possible aiming of a water gun and some possible hitting with a princess person.  Which was followed by mutual "I'm sorrys." The main thing is to make sure everything is the same, except clearly labeled with an "L" or an "E".  And everything is equal.  And fair. And explainable. And when they're this cute and loveable, just about anything is okay!!

August.  

I've got a few trips planned.

I've got a race or two on the calendar.

I've got a birthday trip in the works.

I've got some travelling to do.

But it's my birthday month, so that's okay - right??
