Today's agenda was simple - Sam and Steve were headed to an Atlanta Braves spring training baseball game and Molly, Lynnette, Lindley, Everley and I were headed to the Magic Kingdom. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Yeah, well it always starts out as simple ...
The guys headed to their game and the girls boarded the Magic Kingdom bus. During the ride, we discussed the merits of getting a single or a double stroller (no we didn't bring strollers - we were happy to get the girls and our suitcases in the car during our hasty exit out of Nashville). Anyhow, we got to the Magic Kingdom and joined the trillions of people who were also visiting today. I got in line to change Lindley's ticket to a park-hopper while Molly and Lynnette maneuvered the girls through the various lines to get in. Soon it was stroller-deciding time.
Of course, Everley wanted a double stroller, which seemed like a good idea, and which I purchased. Once we took ownership of the stroller, Lindley decided a double stroller was the work of the devil and wanted her own stroller. To which Everley took great offense and began to loudly express her outrage. To which Lindley also took great offense and began to tearfully express her concerns. A single stroller was purchased and Lindley and Lynnette took off to ride the Barnstormer. Meanwhile, Everley was writhing about on the ground, continuing to express her feelings about Lindley rejecting her double stroller (Molly was at Starbucks, wondering if there were any alcoholic frappaccinos available). At some point, some old retired train conductor cast member looked at Everley and asked me if he needed to call the paramedics. I assured him that she was just having a tantrum. Eventually he believed me and further eventually Everley decided that the world was not going to end over the size of a stroller and off we went to find the rest of our crew.
The rest of the morning went well. We rode Dumbo, we rode the carousel, we saw flowers, we ate lunch, and then we returned to the resort for a nap (not saying who needed one the most).
Meanwhile, back in Nashville, Maribeth and KB boarded their flights and headed to Orlando. They made it in, as did the rest of our cruise crew.
That evening we headed to Epcot for some dinner and a little Figment. We headed back to our rooms and took Everley to meet up with her mom at her hotel. Then it was time to pack up and go to bed - tomorrow we're going on a cruise!!

Today is a gift because: fun and drama at the Magic Kingdom; afternoon naps; dinner at Epcot; finding KB at the resort; heading to and taking the wrong turn to the airport; dropping off Everley with her mom; getting ready to go cruising!!
