Today, as part of Marilyn's last day in Nashville, we had a busy day. She started off by going to her former church when she lived here. Once she got back home, she picked up dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, then we (me/her/Molly) proceeded to the Sprint store so she could update her broken old-timey flip phone to an updated new-from-Plates smartphone (thanks to Molly). From there we went to the AT&T store, but left due to the long wait (moms will have to get updated later) and went directly to the pedicure place. There we splurged on the deluxe pedi, complete with leg stone massage and foot paraffin wrap (yowza!). Marilyn and I opted for sparkly red polish, in celebration of the season - Molly opted out of sparkles and instead went for a more subdued red. At some point we decided to go all the way and got our nails done, too, again with the red sparkles (Molly went for clear). Somehow I ended up with a bottle of red sparkly polish - not sure how that happened.
By this time we had worn Molly out, so we dropped her off and headed for a Wal-Mart trip (Marilyn needed containers to take home the caramel cake and chess pie that Steve had obtained on her behalf while he was in Mississippi). We then had a bite at Sonic and went out to see Christmas lights - and promptly got sorta lost. But thanks to her new phone and her quickly downloaded map app, we found our way back home, just in time for her to load up her stuff for her 6am flight home the next day, where I think she will need a rest from her weekend of racing, buttoning, prettying and shopping!!

When I asked my bestie at work, Deb, what she thought of my polish, she said, "well, it's really sparkly!" I think that's the best she could do :) I am loving it!
