Today started at 6:30am when Lindley told me it was daytime. The rest of the day was spent trying to make sure nobody had a crisis at the same time - from having to be put down and not carried around on someone's hip, to leaning against the baby gate and having it crash down, from being denied the 518th sack of Capri Sun, from wanting a popsicle and then not wanting a popsicle, to having a diaper change, to having to take a nap, to having to eat anything, to having to take Tylenol because you don't want to eat anything, to having the potty seat not be stable, to having your hair brushed, to there being no Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on television, or from from any other blip that would cause a meltdown.
I did not always succeed in this attempt ...
