Catch A Lumberjack in Ketchikan

At least that's what Charity was hoping to do.  We got off the ship and did a bit of exploring on our own.  We saw Dolly the prostitute's house (although we didn't take her tour), rode a tram up the mountain, walked around the sketchier neighborhoods looking for the fish hatchery, saw salmon swimming upstream (and smelled all the dead ones along the way),toured the totem pole museum, rode the free shuttle back to town, and listened to the bus driver as he told us all about Sarah Palin's bridge to nowhere story.  Soon it was time for the Lumberjack Show.  Although Charity did not manage to nab one for herself, she did at least get a picture!!

Today was a great day because: Charity and I got to wander around and see some "interesting parts" of Ketchikan; seeing the shuttle bus and that it was free; seeing and smelling all the salmon; watching the lumberjacks do their stuff
