A Short Story. With Pictures.

Once upon a time, a little girl was born in late June in a little town named Starkville. She thought she would be the only child of her parents, and lived with this blissful delusion for several years. Until her parents had another daughter. And then two years later had a son. Despite this setback due to supreme disappointment, the little girl managed to grow up remarkably unscathed by this brutal life reality.

The little girl and her sister went many places and got in many interesting situations. Eventually , sometimes they even pulled their brother into their escapades, although being a dude, he didn't always appreciate the adventure of it all.

In the end, while the little girl probably enjoyed her three years of quiet solitude, she had to admit that having siblings was okay, too. Probably because she got two of the best ones anyone ever had.

Because as Forrest used to say, "Life is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're going to get." And the little girl knew in her box, she might have gotten a few nutty ones!
