Rescue

So it wasn't enough that on the way down to Mexico on our cruise, we were able to rescue four people.  A few days later, on our way back from Mexico, we felt the boat turning, and sure enough, another "boat" was spotted in the water.  After altering our course and careful observation by the officers, it was determined that the raft was empty, there was no one to rescue, and the "vessel" would be reported to the U.S. Coast Guard.

Wouldn't it be great if we were always aware of what goes on around us and on the lookout for someone who might need rescuing?  And wouldn't it even be neater if we knew that no matter what they were doing, that somebody would always be around to rescue us if we needed it?

Maybe that's the point of rescue - there is Someone out there - we just need to trust that He will be there when we need Him!
