Swim Time!

Today Everley and I went to the Y pool. Emmatha was in daycare, which was good, since I neither have the energy nor the inclination to watch her at the swimming pool, since I figure the baby pool will seem too boring and I will have to chase her away from the deep end of the big pool.

The water in the medium pool was freezing – I kept expecting to see ice cube. Once you get in and get used to it, it was bearable, but otherwise it was not. And during the breaks, Everley would sit on the chair, shivering. Nevertheless, she loved it and wasn’t a fan of leaving, until I promised food. Guess swim season has begun!
