Today we
docked in Juneau. It was very foggy and
overcast and just a hint of rain. Molly
and KB’s excursion got cancelled – it was a float plane thing – but I don’t
think they were too disappointed. We
decided instead to walk about Juneau. We
were going to eat at the local crepe place, but it couldn’t decide whether to
open or not, so we skipped it and headed back to the boat for lunch. And maybe a nap (cruising is
exhausting). We also watched “Captain
America 2” in the ship’s theater – sure, it was out of order, but by now at
least we knew who most of the characters were.
We decided again to opt out of the dining room (our serving team
probably thinks we have jumped ship). We
ordered room service again and finished watching “The Avengers.” Tomorrow “Iron Man 3” and “Thor 2” will be on
tap. Tomorrow we land in Ketchikan and have
an appointment to watch some lumberjacks.
It also marks the beginning of the end of our cruise. Here’s hoping for better weather tomorrow!!

Today is a
gift because: walking around Juneau with
